  1. Hi Tarek! I’d like to know how to go to Derryclare & Bencorr and Killary Fjord. Can I get a bus or a tour from Galway city? Thanks 🙂 Loved your photos, btw!

      Hi Bruna,
Thank you for your kind comment. In fact, I went to these places through NUIG Mountaineering club. The club run hiking trips every Sunday. I think you are so welcome to join this club. It is for the NUIG students and any interested ones.

Ireland is really an amazing country which is just a few miles away from United Kingdom. We live in UK and last year we planned to visit Ireland. People speak Irish and English in Ireland and discovering the countryside by car was a wonderful experience for all of us. I miss that trip a lot as it was one of the best trip I ever had.

My parents want to visit Ireland as my little sister want to continue her further studies in Ireland only. So, it was a family vacation with a purpose to look for the universities in Ireland for my sister as well. We had booked a car from Dan Dooley (http://www.dan-dooley.ie/car-rental-hire-galway.htm) and as we reached to the airport we were having the car in the parking area. With the rental car we went to a lot of places in Galway County which includes Eyre square garden, Galway city museum, Lynch’s castle, Claddagh etc. We also had a walk at the side of salthill porm. The Aran Island located in the Galway bay was very beautiful and we had a great time in Ireland. Hiring a car is I think a smart decision instead of taking a tour in bus as it gives the freedom to travel and you can stop at ant place you want and can manage the places according to the time you have. Soon, I will be visiting Ireland again to meet my sister who is studying in Ireland.
